Paradise Valley 2
An unforgettable hike
about hiking Paradise Valley 2
This hike takes into an area widely popular for its gorges, waterfalls, streams and natural pools, the real definition of “oasis” as Geoff Lawton, a Permaculture expert had described it.
Unfortunately, the widely known paradise valley is crowded and noisy, and has become home to garbage and graffiti. “Paradise Valley II” is located away from all that.
The trail lasts one day, but the experience will stay with you for much longer.

Our path descends a few kilometers down before it heads up the hills through a spectacular landscape, evoking a feeling of tranquility and detachment.
Around midday, we reach the house of our host, a glimpse of the everyday Berber culture.
Later, we descend a narrow rocky pathway into the gorge where water flows. We hike along the river and stop by the natural pools to rest for a little while and enjoy a well-deserved swim. The road continues through small terraced fields where most of the farming is still done by manual labour.
We reach the end of the hike at a slightly larger village.
