This class is open to all beginners and intermediate-level ceramics enthusiasts. Please keep your nails short and remove any jewelry before arriving.

To get to the studio:

Taxi

Ask a taxi driver to take you to “Asserssif, Aourir,” where the Wednesday souk is held (the studio is located 100 meters before that, on the right). If the driver tells you that it’s not souk day (Wednesday), tell him that you already know that. Ask for the price of the return trip in case you want to come back after the workshop! A one-way trip should cost no more than 100 dh from Taghazout—try to negotiate.

Informal Taxi

From the Aourir roundabout to the studio (~5 km), there are shuttles that can take you to the studio. Flag down an older car by pointing your index finger downward 👇 and ask for “Asserssif.” If the driver says “ok” (since Aourir splits into two directions and some drivers are heading the other way), ride to the Asserssif café; the studio is 50 meters further on your right. A seat costs 3 DH. There are plenty of them running all day in both directions.

On foot, by bike, or by car

Don’t dress up, even though we have very protective blue aprons. Long nails and hand jewelry don’t mix well with clay.
